That's me!This Program Is For You If . . .
đ You're an early childhood educator, caregiver, or homsechooler who believes in the power of play, but you're unsure how to balance child-led learning with intentional literacy support.
đ You notice some children are ready for explicit literacy instruction, but you're unsure when or how to introduce it in a way that feels aligned with your values.
đ  You love emergent, play-based learning but feel overwhelmed by frameworks like the Science of Reading and want actionable, developmentally responsive strategies?
đ You care for multi-age children and want to meet their unique literacy needs without sacrificing play, curiosity, or connection.
Why This Matters
I know you are trying to balance it all.
You're running a play-based programâor creating a play-rich homeschoolâin a world that still prioritizes worksheets, assessments, and rushed timelines over connection and curiosity.Â
I see you:
âď¸ Supporting childrenâs play while still meeting literacy standards or expectations.
âď¸Â Advocating for the value of play to families, administrators, or extended relatives that donât always understand. (Yes, even when Aunt Karen sends you âlearn to read in 100 easy lessons.â đ)
âď¸Â Wondering if what youâre doing is "enough" to prepare kids for what's nextâwhether itâs public school, a new grade, or simply the future.
âď¸ Piecing together strategies, patching together resources, and trying to bridge the gap between what you believe and what you're expected to do.
I see you⌠BECAUSE I WAS YOU.
You believe in the power of play.Â
You know thereâs a better way.
But trying to figure it out alone?
Itâs exhausting.
Here's the answer!
You can teach children literacy skills while honoring their play.
You can build a literacy-rich environment that aligns with both the Science of Reading and child-led learning.
You can feel confident, supported, and inspiredâknowing youâre doing enough.
Â
Through the Play-Led Literacy Program, youâll discover how to:
â Support early literacy development in ways that are authentic, playful, and child-led.
â  Advocate for the value of play within your community.
â  Meet literacy standards without sacrificing joy or creativity.
I see you. Iâve been there. And now, letâs do this together.
Are you ready to bridge the gap and build strong literacy foundations through play?
You donât have to do it alone anymore.
Let's do this!What You'll Get
This unique hybrid nine-week group program hybrid program blends coaching, curriculum, and community to take you from wondering if youâre doing enough to confidently knowing you areâsupported every step of the way.

I'm Laura.
Most people would describe me as a teacher, storyteller, mother, wife, and business owner. But really? I'm an advocate and life-long educator.
With a Master's Degree in Teaching Reading, 15 years of experience in public preschool and kindergarten classrooms, and a deep understanding of the Science of Reading, I bring both research and real-world experience to the table.
These days, I'm also an unschooling parent, heading into my third year of learning alongside my kids. I know what it means to trust the process of play and curiosity, even when the world pushes for something else.
Iâve stood where you're standingâtrying to justify play in a system that prioritizes outcomes over the process. I know the weight of that tension.
I'm here to show you there's a better wayâone rooted in joy, authenticity, and the actual needs of young children.
Letâs break free from boxed curriculums and top-down mandates. Together, weâll reclaim the authentic, fulfilling learning that happens through play.
